Many people find surviving relationship abuse a real day to day battle, but what does it take to change your life and become a Survivor Reborn? Read moving and inspiring true life stories of escaping domestic violence. Better still, why not write your own?
We advise you to draw inspiration and support from as many sources as possible. Just one person saying that you should leave wont necessarily mean you will, but if you are hearing this over and over again, there is only one thing stopping you.
You think the pain of leaving is going to be greater than the pain of staying.
You probably can't even imagine the joy, the pleasure, the freedom you might experience if you were to relaease the shackles of your abusive relationship. The fear stops you. And that fear is real. It was real for the authors of the stories published, and they overcame their fear, which means you can too. Read on to find inspiration.
It takes massive leverage, or motivation to leave an abusive partner, and for very good reason. Statistics show that most serious domestic violence occurs after the victim ends the relationship.
That is why it is vital to to build your inner resources as well as your external resources. Nobody says surviving relationship abuse is easy. But if you ask anyone who has done it, they say it is worth it. Read the articles below and find that inner resource. Then come back and share your story.
