Happy New You!
April 15, 2022
It's that time of year when love is in the air.
Love for chocolate that is. But easter isn't all about chocolate now is it?
Life Coaching Insights 3: Spring Has SprungWhat does Easter mean to you and your family? It could be a time for coming together or it could mean falling apart.
There is no timetable for when things happen in relationships but there are patterns and often times it is when most people are celebrating one season or another that relationships break up. Breaking up during the holidays is never a good experience because the season just adds another layer of emotion to remember the pain by year on year. For me Easter is the marker for the spring as Christmas marks the winter. Easter represents new birth, new hope, new excitement and new joy. We made it through another winter! Yes!
Now isn't that something worth celebrating? It is time to spread your wings again!
Here's to you and yours however you choose to enjoy and celebrate.
Life Coaching InsightsEaster is a time for giving so I really had to give you this life coaching insight from the Assumptions For Empowered Leadership. I think this is a really powerful message worth meditating upon: "If you help enough people get what they want most, you will surely get what you want most" Easter is a time for giving so I really had to give you this life coaching insight from the Assumptions For Empowered Leadership. I think this is a really powerful message worth meditating upon:
"If you help enough people get what they want most, you will get what you want most"
You may think along the lines "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours," except this Assumption For Empowered Leadership eliminates the initial "you scratch my back" part.
Isn't that why people get into relationships? To give?
Any trade is an exchange of value whether it be for money, for barter, or for service.
This life coaching principle goes way beyond trade and means that you put yourself at service to others. You meet others needs, and in return your highest needs are met. Some people actually have a an inherent need to be there for others. Maybe you already know some people like that.
If you think of this in the context of your relationship you will see a fundamental truth. Relationships are where you give most. If you get into a relationship just to meet your own needs it will fail. If you go into a relationship expecting something out of it, it will fail. But if you are able to meet the highest needs of your significant other, your needs will be met.
It is also similar to that which you give, you will receive tenfold.
Do you know what you desire most in life? Can you visualise it?
Do you know what is most important to your partner? Can you feel it?
In order to think about meeting another persons needs you need to understand what they value most.
